About St. Patrick School

St. Patrick School is a Catholic school located in the beautiful city of Anamosa, Iowa, the center of Grant Wood Country. In our school we have Preschool through 6th Grade. We welcome children and families of all faiths.

St. Patrick School holds high expectations for all students, and implements differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all students and to allow each to excel at his/her own pace. When students graduate from St. Patrick School, they move on to successful experiences as students in the Anamosa public school system.

Being a private school, St. Patrick School enjoys a deep involvement of parents in the life and activities of the school.

Our St. Patrick Preschool has been awarded a Five Star rating (Iowa's Quality Rating System) by the Iowa Department of Human Services. This is the highest rating given to any preschool. Only 54 preschools in the State of Iowa hold this rating. Our St. Patrick Preschool is the only one in Jones County to be awarded the Five Star rating.
