Mr. Jeremy Neuhaus, Member - Board of Education

Mr. Neuhaus grew up in Monona, IA where he graduated high school at M-F-L Mar-Mac.  After high school he attended the University of Northern Iowa, receiving a Bachelors degree in Business Management.  He currently works in sales for Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc.  Mr. Neuhaus and his wife, Jody, moved to Anamosa in 2004.  They have three girls attending St. Patrick School.

Mr. Chris Frimml

Mr. Chris Frimml, Principal

Mr. Frimml graduated from Wartburg College in 1998 with a B.A. in Elementary Education.  After graduation, he was a substitute teacher for one year.  In 1999, Mr. Frimml started teaching at Central City Community Schools.  While at Central City, he taught third grade, second grade, fifth grade, sixth grade, seventh grade, and eighth grade.  He obtained his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Drake University.  In 2010, Mr. Frimml came to us to be our Principal and Director of Religious Education.  In his spare time, he likes to spend time with his family.

Sister Susan Dunnwald

Sr. Susan Dunnwald, Parish Administrator

Sr. Susan graduated in 1952 from Sacred Heart High School in Waterloo, Iowa.  She entered the Sisters of Mercy of Cedar Rapids in August of 1952. She received her BA from Mt. Mercy College, Cedar Rapids, Iowa,  in Education and History, and obtained her MA from Loras College, Dubuque, Iowa, in Elementary Administration.  She also did Advance Studies in Pastoral Ministry from Mt. St. Mary's in Wisconsin.

Occupational Timeline:
- 1952-1955: Religious and Educational Formation
- 1955-1968: Teacher of elementary and junior high  at Ames, Cedar Rapids, and Kalispell, MT  
- 1968-1979: Elementary Principal at Cedar Rapids, and Edina, MN
- 1971-1975: Served at Vice President of the Sisters of Mercy
- 1979-1987: President of the Sisters of Mercy
- 1987-2010: Served in Pastoral Administration at Sabula,  and Anamosa, IA
- July 2004: Awarded the Cross "Pro Ecclesia Et Pontifice" for distinguished service to the church.

Various Professional and Related Activities:
- Bd. of Trustees, Mt. Mercy College, CR - 1975-1987
- Bd. of Trustees, Mercy Medical Center, CR - 71-75,  2001-2006; Secretary- 1979-87
- Bd. of Trustees, Mercy Hospital, Oelwein 1971-1975 and 1979-1980.
- Leadership Conference of Women Religious 1979-1987
- Chairperson of Iowa LCWR 1984-1987
- Mercy Federation of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas 1971-75. 1979-1987
- Various other committees and councils including eight years on the Dubuque Archdiocesan Pastoral Council.
