Mrs. Michele Mikkelsen, Teacher

Mrs. Mikkelsen graduated from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls in horticulture/floriculture.  She later went to Upper Iowa University and graduated in 2002 Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Elementary Education with endorsements in Science and Reading.  After graduation, she taught preschool in Postville, Iowa.  She later taught kindergarten through third grade children with behavioral needs at Crossroad Academy.  She is currently in her fourth year of teaching kindergarten at St. Patrick School.  Originally from Decorah, her husband and two children love to garden, go for walks, read, and cheer on the Hawkeyes.
